Tabby An orange tabby as content as can be, On my bed sleeping peacefully. No worries, no concerns, no cares; For she never compares. She's rarely affected by the world around, But always notices my frown. She is always there when I need her, And then I'm so happy even I could purr. She wants to get me the perfect gift, So she must be very swift. For the perfect gift is a bird, A mouse, or something that's absurd. They are not what I most enjoy. Most of the time they quite annoy. But she doesn't know any better, For it is her form of a love letter. She'll always be there for me, Even when her soul is free. For she'll always be in my heart. Nothing could ever keep us apart. © Crystal Abeel |
