If you haven’t noticed yet, my name is Crystal. Not too long ago I decided that I wanted to put my art on the web, so I grabbed my dad’s HTML book and got to work. It is a simple language to learn and in one day I had a webpage. Since that day my webpage has expanded from displaying just my previous artwork to selling my artwork. Also, my webpage now contains information on my business, my poems, and is host to another artist’s artwork.
My favorite thing to do is... wait... I don’t have a favorite thing to do for there is a tie between several things. The first is painting, especially horses. Horses are so graceful and beautiful and I try to capture their beauty, but they have so much that it is impossible to capture it all.

Another of my favorites is kayaking. Securing the kayak on the roof rack of the truck at any time of the day and driving to a remote body of water. Putting the kayak in the water and hopping in. Securing myself with the splash skirt and being one with the kayak. Pushing off from shore and putting the rudder down. Paddling and drifting through the waves, wind, and sun. Relaxing in nature.
Third, I love being behind a camera, motion or still. I love capturing the moment. The marvels of films allow me to do that. Film lets me portray my experiences in a way that others can say ""I felt as if I were there"". And a good thing about film, is that it lasts for a long time. Your grandchildren or great-grandchildren can look at a picture and feel more closely connected to the past. Or if nothing else, film just allows you to rekindle memories that may have dwindled over time.
